Why do we see best viewed 800 x 600 16 bit Color ?
Click here is how you set your screen
settings
Because the Internet has a standard for it's normal operations. One is
viewable settings based on the majority of computer users screen settings. Which
is 800 x 600 16 Bit Color. So web designers base there finished products
based on these settings so the majority of people do see the site as it is
intended to be seen. Sites like this one are not a simple text based site
and require frames, tables and special formats. Because of this the site is
laid out in 800 x 600 16 bit format and best if viewed as such. In fact most
sites on the internet are suppose to be viewed that way. My advise is you
try it if you do not have your setting set as such. Click
here is how you set your screen settings to 800 x 600 16 bit color.

Viewing pictures in Auction area
Click Here to see how to change picture
auto resizing settings.
The problem now days is dial-up verses DSL. and cable. The question a site
designer has to ask himself when laying out a page is does the ones viewing
it have DSL or Dial-up ? And base the design off that. I laid the site out
using dial-up. This lets me know what a dial-up user has to deal with on
load time of a picture page. Being a majority of users are using dial-up
pages where laid out with 20 thumbnails linked to larger pictures incase you
want to see something better. Most users are unaware of the new settings in Internet
Explorer 6x for Auto Resizing of images. Again this has an adverse effect on
site designers as it may change the way a designer wants you to see a
picture. Example being you click on a larger picture link and it opens in a
new window. Funny thing is it is not much larger. That is the new Auto
Resize setting in Internet Explorer. Turn it off and you will see things as
they are meant to be seen by the site designer not the way Bill Gates thinks
you need to see them. Yes he tends to upset designers by not thinking when
he designs software, Chain reaction. Now we have to teach users how to use
his software... So again we have to change a setting so you can see sites as
they where meant to be seen as the designer expects you to see them The old
way, " As it is suppose to be " Not as a software designer thinks
it should be. Click Here to see how to
change picture auto resizing settings.

By setting this option as it should of been as a default your browser it
will self clean all temporary internet files. Thus saving you space and
unwanted garbage on your systems. This also aids in Virus prevention as I
